Summer Trip Calgary 08

"where I got my head in a hat"

The Royal Tyrrell Museum - Part B

The Royal Tyrrell Museum explores the various epochs that have made up the archaeological pattern of creation and history.  Assembled skeletons from each age are set in dramatic settings so the visitor can step into the past with camera in hand.  Large carnivores and herbivores struggle in a mortal battle where witnesses exist only by suspending belief and travelling in time long before humans took a breath.  The Alberta Bad Lands is a treasure trove of palaeontology treasures.
